New Licensor Demonstrates Growing Value of Via LTE Pool
SAN FRANCISCO, February 26, 2019 - Via Licensing Corporation today announced that infrastructure semiconductor solutions provider Marvell® has joined Via’s industry-leading Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless licensing program.
Via’s LTE licensing program offers the industry a fair, transparent, and cost-effective means to obtain a license to all LTE and LTE-Advanced patents of its licensors that are essential for the deployment of the LTE standard in their products. LTE is a leading wireless communications technology for smartphones, wearables, tablets, and the growing Internet of Things (IoT), including connected cars.
